Education Project

Program Manager: Henry Taylor

The goal of the UB-ESNTP's education activities is to link inner-city education to community development efforts in the Martin Luther King Jr. and Fruit Belt neighborhoods. The UB-ESNTP has partnerships with the Futures Academy (School 37) a public school that is located in the Fruit Belt neighborhood and the King Urban Life Center which houses a charter school in the Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood. The UB-ESNTP also partners with the Locust Street Art School. UB-ESNTP activities include: the Future City initiative, the Fruit Belt Community Garden, the Community Art Project, and the annual Fruit Belt Neighborhood Clean-A-Thon.
