Housing Project

Program Co-Managers: Robert Silverman and Kelly Patterson

The goal of the UB-ESNTP's housing activities is to build the capacity of local community-based organizations (CBOs) and assist them in their efforts to address the affordable housing needs of the Martin Luther King Jr. and Fruit Belt neighborhoods. The UB-ESNTP has partnerships with a diverse group of CBOs which include: block clubs, faith-based organizations, advocacy groups, and community development corporations. The UB-ESNTP provides these organizations with technical assistance and capacity building. The UB-ESNTP also collaborates with other universities, nonprofits, and the public sector on projects related to affordable housing on the East Side of Buffalo.
